Mushroom and Corn Fusilli Pasta

Ingredients

  • Golden Crown Fusilli Pasta – 150g
  • Golden Crown Button Mushroom in Brine – 1 cup, sliced
  • Golden Crown Sweet Corn Kernel in Brine – ½ cup
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves, finely chopped
  • Onion – 1 small, chopped
  • Fresh cream – ½ cup
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Parmesan cheese – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil – for garnish

Instructions

  • 01 Boil Fusilli Pasta in salted water as per packet instructions. Drain and keep aside.
  • 02 Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
  • 03 Add sliced Button Mushroom and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  • 04 Add Sweet Corn Kernels, stir for a minute.
  • 05 Pour in fresh cream, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 06 Add boiled Fusilli Pasta, mix everything gently.
  • 07 Season with salt and black pepper. Toss in Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • 08 Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil.
