Ingredients
- All-purpose flour – 2 cups
- Golden Crown Yeast – 1 tsp (instant dry)
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 and 1/2 tsp
- Warm water – ¾ cup
- Olive oil – 3 tbsp
- Golden Crown Tomato Puree – 1 cup
- Garlic – 3 cloves (finely chopped)
- Onion – ½ (finely chopped, optional)
- Big Bell Oregano – 1 tsp and ½ tsp (for sprinkling)
- Big Bell Chilli Flakes – ½ tsp and ½ tsp (for sprinkling)
- Golden Crown Sliced Mushroom – ½ cup
- Euro Gold Sliced Black Olives – ¼ cup
- Golden Crown Sweet Corn Kernels – ½ cup (boiled)
- Golden Crown Sliced Jalapeños in Vinegar – ¼ cup
- Mozzarella cheese – 1½ cups (grated)
Instructions
- 01 In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and Golden Crown Yeast.
- 02 Let it rest for 10 minutes until frothy, then add flour, salt, and olive oil, and knead into a soft dough.
- 03Cover and let it rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- 04 Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic (and onion if using), then add Golden Crown Tomato Puree, oregano, chilli flakes, and salt. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick.
- 05Punch down the dough, divide into 2 portions, and roll each portion into a round base (about 8 inches).
- 06Place on greased baking trays.
- 07Spread sauce evenly over the base, sprinkle half of the mozzarella, then top with Golden Crown Mushrooms, Euro Gold Olives, Golden Crown Sweet Corn, and Golden Crown Jalapeños, before finishing with the rest of the mozzarella.
- 08Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese melts.
- 09Sprinkle extra oregano and chilli flakes on top, slice, and serve hot.
