Ingredients
- Golden Crown Canned Mushrooms – 1 can
- Onion – 1 small, chopped
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Golden Crown Garlic paste – ½ tsp
- Pearl River Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Golden Crown MSG – ½ tsp
- Honey – ¼ tsp
Instructions
- 01 Start by heating a wok or large non-stick pan on medium-high heat before you add the oil.
- 02 Sauté the chopped onion for about one minute after adding it to the pan. Stir constantly to avoid uneven cooking. The onion is ready for the next step when it becomes translucent and its edges turn light golden.
- 03 Add the garlic paste and cook it for 15 to 20 seconds. Stir quickly to avoid both sticking and burning the food. The garlic should emit a delightful scent which will infuse the whole dish.
- 04 Drain and slice the canned mushrooms thoroughly before placing them in the pan, drying them with a paper towel if needed. Toss the mushrooms in the onion and garlic mixture until fully coated.
- 05 Add soya sauce, black pepper, and MSG. Stir-fry the mushrooms fast for 2–3 minutes on high heat to let them soak up the flavours.
- 06 Drizzle the mushrooms with honey, stir to mix the ingredients, then cook for one minute prior to serving hot dishes.
