Ingredients
- 1 Can (800g) Canz Yellow Peach Halves (drained, syrup reserved)
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar (divide into ½ cup + ½ cup)
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- 01Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- 02Place the melted butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish (or similar). Spread evenly.
- 03Prepare the Batter
- 04To prepare the batter, In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, ½ cup sugar, and cinnamon.
- 05Gradually add milk and mix until smooth (like pancake batter).
- 06To layer the Cobbler, pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish (do not stir).
- 07Arrange the drained Canz peach halves evenly over the batter.
- 08Drizzle 2–3 tablespoons of the reserved syrup over the top for extra flavor.
- 09Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup sugar evenly on top.
- 10Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the batter has risen around the peaches.
- 11Let it cool slightly before serving.
- 12Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
