Ingredients
- Pizza base – 1 large
- THS Peri Peri Sauce – 3 tbsp
- Cooked chicken pieces – 200g
- Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup shredded
- Onion – ½ sliced
- Bell peppers – ½ cup sliced
- Black olives – ¼ cup sliced (optional)
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Fresh coriander or basil – for garnish
Instructions
- 01 Set the oven to 220°C (425°F) and preheat thoroughly.
- 02 Place the pizza base on a tray or stone and brush the edges lightly with olive oil.
- 03Spoon THS Peri Peri Sauce over the base and spread it evenly, leaving a 1-inch border along the edge.
- 04Scatter cooked chicken pieces evenly across the sauce.
- 05Arrange sliced onions and bell peppers over the chicken, and add black olives if desired.
- 06Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously to cover the toppings, then drizzle a little olive oil over the surface.
- 07 Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and turning golden, and the crust is crisp.
- 08 Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for about five minutes before slicing.
- 09Sprinkle fresh coriander or basil leaves over the pizza before serving.
- 10 Cut into wedges and serve hot, ideally with Golden Crown Lime Juice Cordial as a refreshing drink.
