A Post Graduate from FMS, Delhi, and an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Mr. Vijay Kumar Budhraja built on his early exposure to the food business and learnings from multiple corporate stints to shape his entrepreneurial vision. With perseverance and a deep understanding of the industry, he founded Holyland in 1995 to redefine India’s processed and canned food sector.

Under his leadership, Holyland became one of the first movers in introducing canned and processed foods across India. By establishing strong distribution linkages nationwide, he laid the foundation for large-scale supply networks that made quality packaged foods accessible across markets. Today, the company holds a leadership position across categories like canned fruits and vegetables, sauces, pastes and ketchup, baking ingredients, syrups and fruit crushes, pasta and noodles, frozen foods, and more.

Mr. Budhraja continues to direct Holyland with innovation and integrity, inspiring the team to anticipate evolving market needs and set new industry benchmarks.
